I love playing the piano! I bought my first ever piano (digital) about a year ago.
I never had my own! (complex lol) Trying to pick up where I left off at 15 years old.
I feel like I want to start a band or some sort of casual music session with fun individuals. If you live in Vancouver and want to jam, let me know please. I would love to try the song “Rain” by Ryuichi Sakamoto with a violinist??
My piano is Yamaha Clavinova CLP-585. I picked this one out at Tom Lee on Granville st. I did some extensive testing, so here are my top picks:
Yamaha Avant Grand N2 (Best touch, sound, but looks weird… also very expensive)
Yamaha Avant Grand N3 (looks gorgeous, great sound but too big for our apartment…most expensive)
Yamaha NU1 (great touch, sounds like upright piano, because it is. I almost bought this one but didn’t because it is heavier than CLP-585)
Yamaha Clavinova CLP-585 (I picked this one because it is sturdier than CLP-525 to 575 models, 585 is the only model with individually weighted wooden keyboard in CLP series, comes with pre-recorded practice music with the scores, and can make other instrument sounds, not just variety of pianos)
